In April Bob “the Cat” Bevan married his partner of over 20 years, former Pan’s People dancer, Laura Collins, in front of 200 guests including many from showbiz and sport.

He warmed up for his wedding speech with a dinner at Worthing Golf Club the night before and the Agricultural Engineers Association Lunch two days later.

In 2012 he was flown to the Middle East for dinners with the England cricket team and then returned to speak at Dame Vera Lynn’s 95th Birthday Lunch with BBC legendary journalist Kate Aidie.
