He can even make Corporate Trustees Laugh!

You might think the Association of Corporate Trustees might be a dry old lot? Not when “the Cat” addressed them at their Annual Dinner. “Bob was very well received,” said the Secretary to the booking agent “and acquired new fans.”

Similarly at the Liverpool Victoria Brokers Dinner. “You went down very well” said CEO John O’Rourke. “Several comics have bombed here before.” Said Bob “Glad you told me afterwards!”

He also flew in from holiday in Spain to speak at a lunch in Birmingham with World Cup ’66 hero Nobby Stiles.

At the Wooden Spoon Eastern Counties Golf Day the organiser Alan Lines wrote to thank him and said “you gave us excellent entertainment”

More recently he was at the County Cricket Championship Presentation at Buckingham Palace meeting up again with his “fan” the Duke of Edinburgh (see website www.bobthecatbevan.com). Bob and the Duke spoke of multi-tasking. When Bob suggested women could do it but chaps were not supposed to be able the 91-year-old Duke replied “You speak for yourself!”

WELL OILED BEFORE SCOTLAND

Bob is now gearing up for the Annual Dinner of the UK Lubricants Association at London’s prestigious Carlton Tower Hotel before heading north for the Scottish Football Hall of Fame Dinner in Glasgow at which Graham Souness will be inducted.
